The Evo has a small problem...

Well today I noticed that the vacuum line going from the Turbo nipple to the MBC had been rubbing against the Heat Shield and melted.

I went to Bond Auto Parts to get some new vacuum line, now I just need to find some time to pull the intercooler piping off so I can fit my hand down to the turbo to replace the line.

Also I still need to go back to Kale's Customs to have my fuel pump installed, and I have a C-West front bumper on order.

Hi,
This is my first attemp at a blog, so here goes...

The purpose of this blog is to document the progress of my current project, a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evoution VIII.





As of today, the Evo current has the following mods installed: (Good for 330 HP)

Exedy Racing Clutch
Short Shifter
Cone Air Filter
Perrin MBC
Magnaflow 3" Catback Exhaust
TTP Engineering ECU Flash

Parts waiting to be installed:

Walbro 255lph fuel pump


Once the fuel pump is installed, my modding may be slowed down due to the fact that my current job is going out of business on Sunday. I am currently looking for a new job, so once I finalize one I will begin buying more parts again.

The next mods I plan on getting are a Buschur Racing Mini Battery, Buschur Racing Upper Intercooler Piping kit, and Buschur Racing MAF Hardpipe kit. Once these parts are installed the Evo should be good for 330 WHP.
