Minor Update

So I finally had the chance to tear apart my upper intercooler piping to re-install the vacuum line that goes from the turbo nipple to the MBC (Line had touched heat shield and melted). Took me about a half hour to fix.

After fixing the vacuum line I took the Evo out to do some datalogging to send to TTP-Engineering. As I posted in a previous post I am having some issues with partial throttle knock. This is still occuring, but I have found out that it only happens at partial throttle, when I go WOT, I rarely get any counts of knock. I will send that log over to TTP and have them look at it and hopefully we can get my map to work without knocking at partial throttle.

Quick Update

Well today I installed my new Prosport Electric Boost gauge. It took me a little while to figure the wiring out since this was my first install of an electrical gauge. I finally figured it out after having my dash torn apart for a day, but it was worth it. The gauge looks great during the day (My previous Prosport Mechanical Boost gauge was un-readable during the day), and it will look even greater at night. I will get a picture up in the next day or so.

As for my knock count, I have Seth of Moon Performance in Lake Placid, NY looking at my fuel maps to see if he can pinpoint the cause of my low-thottle knock count.

Im still jobless, so I haven't bought any new parts for the car other than replacing the boost gauge and my fuel pump is still sitting on the shelf at Kales Customs. Hopefully I will have that in soon because I have a feeling that may be causing some of the knock counts.

Well I'm out for the night, later all.

Not Much Going On

Well not much has changed since my last post, I figured I would just post a link to my profile on my local car club website. Feel free to check it out as it has pictures as well as all my current mods, horsepower, and 1/4 mile time listed.

Evo VIII

I still have to replace the vacuum line going from the turbo to the MBC, hopefully I'll have a chance to do that in the next day or so.

I'm also experience some low throttle knock, but I believe that may be caused by the fact that I have not yet installed my Walbro Fuel Pump. The ECU flash from TTP-Engineering was customized to work with the fuel pump installed so I will have to get that in ASAP.
